LEARNING OUTLINE:

Step 1 – Sketch the structure of the object according to the shape.

Step 2 – Draw the parts of the chess according to the shape.

Step 3 – Draw the Details & Finish the Line Drawing.

Step 4 – Begin Shading and Refine it

Step 1 :

Sketch the structure of the object according to the shape.

To keep it simple, our subject is chess, so the first shape we sketch is a rectangle, which serves as a guide as we sketch.

Step 2 :

Draw the parts of the chess according to the shape

By identifying that Chess has different shapes, it is a circle, rectangle, and trapezoid.

We will apply it inside the box

Step 3 :

Draw the Details & Finish the Line Drawing

To finish the line drawing you can add some details and make it rounded or curve every edge of the shape

Step 4 :

Begin Shading and Refine it

When the line drawing is finished you can start shading. Start by applying strokes that are generally lighter than what you would have in the finished drawing.

Refine it by Continuing to add more layers of strokes over the previous set to smooth and darken the shading.
